How do I start the process of obtaining an Apostille or Authentication from the Secretary of State?

STEP 3: Have your document NOTARIZED OR CERTIFIED by the appropriate official. Call the CA Secretary of State at 916-653-3365 if you have questions or ar unsure if your document will be accepted.

Sun Document Filings cannot determine if your document will be accepted for filing and we charge a service fee for delivering the document in person regardless if the document is apostilled or rejected.
